Baptism has been the sign and means of entry into the church family for 2000 years.
We baptise (Christen) children, infants and adults.
To be baptised is to make a commitment to the life of the church, to attend regularly and be a part of what we do. In the case of infant baptism the commitment is on the part of the parents and godparents.
If you are regular church attendees, you might like to have your child baptised during a Sunday service. We can arrange an alternative service, however, where it is just friends and family present. Please contact the vicar and she will go through all the options with you.
