All Saints participates in the Paradise Run which is a local soup run organised by the charity Rainbow of Hope.
The main focus of the soup run is to feed those who are hungry and be a friend.
Food and drink is served to anyone in need, and not exclusively to the homeless. Recipients of the soup run are from varying backgrounds. Some are rough sleepers, others sleep in squats or live in hostels. Many have experienced relationship difficulties, are struggling with drug or alcohol problems or are lonely or bereaved. What they all have in common is the need for someone to stand alongside them and share their burden.
The Paradise Run is located on Charles Street, opposite the rear door of Marks and Spencers, Queen Street, Cardiff.
The following items are always needed:
Cheese Pork pies, Tinned soup, Dog food – cans with ring-pulls, tinned tuna, crisps, packet soup, dry dog food – biscuit, corned beef, pot noodles, long-life milk, toothpaste, shampoo, ham, biscuits, tea, razors, soap, blankets, sliced bread, cake, coffee, warm clothing, sausage rolls, chocolate, sugar, wet weather clothing.
Please leave your donations in the crate provided by the door of the church. Cash donations may be left in the wall-safe.
