all saints llandaff north wedding 1000
We are delighted that you are considering to have a church wedding. Deciding to marry in a church is very different to booking a ‘venue wedding’.

We are happy to speak to you about what getting married in church involves.

Below are some questions that are commonly asked.

Can we marry in this church?

There are some rules laid down by the Church In Wales that guide us in this area.

You can marry at All Saints’ if one of you;

was baptised in the parish concerned, or

was prepared for confirmation in the parish, or

has at any time lived in the parish for a period of at least 6 months, or

has at any time regularly attended church services in the parish for a period of at least 6 months;

or if one of your parents, at any time after you were born

has lived in the parish for a period of at least 6 months, or

has regularly attended church services in the parish church for a period of at least 6 months;

or if one of your parents or grandparents was married in the parish.

Even if you cannot demonstrate any of the above connections, we would love to help you look at whether it may still be possible for you to marry at  All Saints’.

What next?

When you have a date in mind simply drop us a line and we will be able to check if the church is available. We will then take you through the next steps.

How much will it cost?

The total cost of your 2015 wedding will be £405. This includes the vicar, use of the church, banns (read at All Saints), verger and organist. We can also arrange the church flowers for a little extra. You may also want to consider booking our church hall for your reception.

Getting married elsewhere?

If you live in Llandaff North Parish but are getting married in an Anglican church elsewhere you will need to have your Banns read here before your wedding. Just contact us and we will sort it all out for you.
